Morgan starred alongside other actors in the informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention as well as education. Part of the money went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She's a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the primary driver behind numerous fund-raising efforts for this disease. Morgan also gave a speech to the Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to fill in for him during AIDS occasions and has presented an AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice on Nightline about AIDS. Morgan is nominated as one of the Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. In the spring of this year, Morgan starred alongside Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC television. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon, produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams as well appeared. The next film she was in sent her to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also appeared in the psychological thriller "The Leading Lady" that was exclusively produced by USA Network. This thriller received the highest ratings of all time for the network.
